Overview of the Host Company

Aerosense Inc. is a company that supports the advancement of surveying, inspection, and investigation operations through advanced drone-centered technologies.

The company provides integrated services ranging from the development and sales of industrial drones to aerial data analysis, 3D model generation, and cloud-based operational support. Through these services, Aerosense contributes to improving productivity, enhancing safety, and reducing labor requirements across various fields such as construction, infrastructure, local governments, and disaster prevention.

By developing field-oriented drone solutions and providing data utilization platforms, Aerosense helps streamline traditionally labor-intensive operations and supports faster and more reliable decision-making.

What kind of activities were carried out?

1. Improving multilingual web application UI

Worked on UI improvements related to navigation features and multilingual display settings to enhance usability and create a more user-friendly interface design.

2. Supporting full-stack feature development

Assisted with feature implementation and workflow improvements in a development environment using React, TypeScript, and Go, including revisions to screen transition design and processing flows.

3. Participating in drone image-based anomaly detection tasks

Worked on tasks related to detecting road cracks and signs of landslides using image frames captured by drones.

4. Contributing to quality improvement through team development

Participated in technical meetings, code reviews, bug fixing, and merge operations to improve software quality and implementation stability.

5. Learning practical business communication skills

Learned the importance of reporting, communication, time management, and continuous information sharing necessary for practical workplace collaboration.

What achievements and learnings did you gain from participating in the internship?

• Throughout the internship, communication within the team was smooth, and questions or consultations were handled appropriately, allowing the interns to work on tasks with confidence.
• The mentors were flexible in making time whenever needed, creating an environment where it was easy to confirm directions and discuss technical issues.
• Learning materials and task explanations were easy to understand, making it possible to deepen understanding while working on practical assignments. At the same time, there were opportunities for independent research and exploration, which made the experience highly educational.
• Overall, the balance of support, flexibility, and the internship structure created a positive environment that encouraged active participation and continuous learning.

Message to students considering this program

• For interviews and the selection process, it is important to thoroughly understand your resume and previous projects. In particular, it is helpful to explain not only what you built, but also how you approached and developed it.
• During interviews, not only technical ability but also politeness, calmness, sincerity, and communication skills are evaluated. Rather than trying to exaggerate your abilities, it is important to answer honestly, clearly, and confidently.
• In terms of technical preparation, it is helpful to review fundamental knowledge and be ready to explain the technologies and fields you have worked with.
• During the internship, initiative, time management, and continuous reporting and communication are very important. Instead of leaving uncertainties unresolved, actively discussing and learning with others can lead to significant growth.
• An internship is not only a place to achieve results, but also an opportunity to learn and grow. Rather than being overly nervous, it is important to challenge yourself while staying true to your own style and strengths.
